SMU Student Medical Insurance Plan

All eligible students are covered under the following SMU student group medical insurance plans:

  1. Outpatient Clinical and Specialist Care (GP & SP)
  2. Hospital and Surgical Insurance (GHS)
  3. Personal Accident (GPA)

SMU Student Travel Insurance Plan

With the introduction of the Global Exposure Initiative, all students are expected to undertake an SMU-sanctioned global programme at least once during their academic studies at SMU.

To support this exciting initiative, all eligible students are covered under the SMU student travel insurance plan*.

*Only applicable to official global programmes sanctioned by Singapore Management University (SMU). Not applicable to personal vacations/leisure travel.

IMPORTANT:

  • The SMU student insurance plans are in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.
  • Subscription to the SMU student insurance plans are mandatory and applicable to all eligible and matriculated students (undergraduate, postgraduate and non-graduating students), with no opt-out option. Premiums paid through the annual fee are non-refundable.
