Emergency Services

The Campus Security provides 24 hour assistance for emergency services. Our security officer are trained to emergency assistance to the University's community as well as the public.

If you experience any of the following situations reflected below and require immediate assistance, please call 6828 0343. Alternatively, if you are able to, you could make your way to the security counters at Level 1 of SMU buildings.

Witnessed a safety incident or issue?

Call the campus security if you experience the following emergencies:

Smoke or Fire

  • Use stairs, not elevators
  • Proceed to Assembly Area
  • Follow instructions that may be announced

Major Injury

    • State of consciousness of person
  • If trained, render first aid

Suspicious Article / Person / Activity

  • Observe the article/person/activity from a safe distance
  • Note down the descriptions

Public Nuisance
