Synopsis
In this panel presentation, guest speakers are invited to share their working experiences in connection with intellectual property law. Speakers include representatives from the industry, including the digital music industry, patent database and strategic analysis business as well as a global leading company in the medical imaging technology. Speakers also include representative from the World Intellectual Property Organization and Singapore’s A*Star. In particular, speakers will discuss to what extent intellectual assets and intellectual property rights may contribute to the core competitiveness and commercial success of the company and, in some instances, the opportunities and challenges they have encountered in obtaining, managing and enforcing the rights.
