The 6th Conference on European and Asian Intellectual Property, titled “Exploring Sensible Ways for Paying Copyright Owners” will take place in Taipei (Taiwan) from 11-12 June 2015. The Conference is organized by Professors Kung Chung Liu and Reto Hilty. The Conference aims at examining a variety of mechanisms for achieving an equitable remuneration of copyright owners in today’s digital environment, and in general. In particular, the participants to the Conference will highlight how these various mechanisms can be used to develop the current copyright system so that copyright law can be used to promote further development in society.
