Under the auspice of the Applied Research Centre for Intellectual Assets and the Law in Asia (ARCIALA), Singapore Management University, and the German Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, on 27 August 2015 the “VIPP Project” will be initiated in an invitation-only roundtable meeting. VIPP stands for “Visionary IP Professors”, and this one-day event is dedicated to the exploration of the desirability, feasibility, and ways of pushing forward the goal of boosting Asian IP cooperation. The roundtable will be attended by 20 scholars from Asia, including China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan.
