Deborah Ho is the Chairperson of BlackRock Singapore. She previously served as Country Head of BlackRock Singapore, where she led the firm through a period of significant transformation, growth, and strategic influence in Southeast Asia.
During her tenure as Country Head, Deborah oversaw the expansion of BlackRock Singapore into a major regional hub, strengthening its role across investment management, technology, alternatives, and sustainable investing. Under her leadership, the Singapore business deepened its partnerships with key institutional stakeholders, played a pioneering role in advancing sustainable finance and blended finance initiatives, and significantly enhanced BlackRock’s presence, culture, and operating scale in the region. She was instrumental in building a diverse, high-performing organization known for strong collaboration, inclusivity, and client impact.
With over three decades of experience in global financial services, Deborah brings deep expertise across asset management, capital markets, and institutional partnerships. She is widely respected for her values-based leadership, her ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, and her commitment to developing talent and building resilient organizations. Her career reflects a strong track record of aligning long-term investment outcomes with broader economic and societal priorities.
Beyond BlackRock, Deborah serves on several boards, reflecting her commitment to public service, education, and long-term national development. She is a Non-Executive Board Member of the Singapore Management University, a Board Member of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, and a Non-Executive Board Member of Seviora Holdings, a Temasek-owned asset management platform. She Co-Chairs the Singapore Sustainable Finance Association.
