Yo:Ha @Pearl's Hill
SMU has leased several apartments on a single floor from a private hostel operator at a complex called Yo:Ha @Pearl's Hill. More information on Yo:Ha @Pearl's Hill can be found here. The apartments at Yo:Ha @Pearl's Hill are either twin or quad sharing. Each apartment also has a living area, kitchen, and bathroom. Yo:Ha @Pearl's Hill is located in Chinatown and is conveniently situated near many eateries and public transport.
Dwell Student Living
Dwell (previously known as CSL Selegie) is a student hostel within walking distance of SMU. It offers single, twin, triple, and quadruple-share rooms. Bathrooms and toilets are shared facilities for all residents on the same floor. The hostel is surrounded by a variety of eateries to meet any budget and a supermarket. Homestead Halls is a hostel operation catering only to international students. It has two locations. Tessensohn Hall is located in Little India. The closest MRT (Farrer Park MRT station on the NE line) is a mere five-minute walk away. The hostel is about 20 minutes from SMU and is close to many eateries, malls, and supermarkets. The hostel has created spaces where students congregate to eat, play, or study. The roof-top garden at Tessensohn Hall is a popular spot for students to chill.
Homestead Halls operates another student hostel located in Serangoon – Serangoon Hall. It is five minutes from the Potong Pasir MRT station and is about 30 minutes from SMU.

Palm & Oak Hostel
Palm & Oak Hostel operates two hostels that are close to the SMU campus. One hostel is located at Owen Road and the other at Rangoon Road. (The hostel at Rangoon Road was formerly known as Hostel 99.) Both hostels are in Little India where there are many food outlets and a 24-hour supermarket. Both hostels are served by the Farrer Park MRT and are about 15 minutes from SMU.
Palm & Oak (Rangoon Road) is set up as a boutique student hostel where every room comes with an attached bathroom. Both hostels have single, double, and triple-share rooms and common areas for students. More information can be found at http://palmandoak.com/
