Kudos to studying for good grades, but education has a bigger purpose

In a commentary, SMU Associate Professor of Law Eugene Tan discussed the need to help students realise that education has a bigger purpose beyond good grades, and that there is more value in the process of learning. He explained why education should enable our young to reach their full potential, but also fulfil their larger role as good citizens with a strong sense of self as well as of possibility. He also shared his views on the significant role values play in education amid the rise of artificial intelligence.
