Professional Development Series

Our well-rounded postgraduate experience develops you into an articulate, analytical and socially responsible leader with the skills to chart the way forward for your organisation. Incorporated as an integral part to this experience is our Postgraduate Professional Development Series (PDS), which complements classroom studies through a series of interactive workshops that will be vital to your personal and professional development.

Eligible Masters students will be able to select and self-register for the workshops of their interest during designated dates in the year, to complete the PDS as part of their graduation requirements. Taught by our distinguished SMU faculty and qualified external trainers, the topics are engaging and diverse, ranging from interpersonal effectiveness and communication, critical/creative thinking skills, negotiation, leadership, organisational behaviour, data analytics, spreadsheet modelling, innovation to business sustainability.
