Singapore Computer Society Best Final Year Student Award

About the Award

Supported by Singapore Computer Society, the Singapore Computer Society Best Final Year Student Award is given annually to the top graduating final year Bachelor of Science (Information Systems) student.

The Award will be presented at the SMU Commencement Ceremony.

Eligibility Criteria

The Award will be given annually to the top graduating final year Bachelor of Science (Information Systems) student who meets the following criteria:

  • Outstanding academic achievements, and
  • Outstanding contributions to the SIS and SMU community.

The Award will be given to the student who best meets both of these criteria.

Quota

1 will be awarded annually

Benefits of the Award

  • Certificate, Gold Medal and Cash Prize (totaling $1,200)
  • 1 year free membership to the Singapore Computer Society

About the Donor

The Singapore Computer Society was established in 1967. Today, it has a membership of over 26,000 people and is the largest IT professional body in Singapore. It provides a wide range of events such as seminars & conferences, publications and access to an invaluable network of specialists. In addition, it administers the National IT Skills Certification Programme that offers individuals the avenue to gain recognition and career development.
