ARTS
A good number of SMU students have a passion for the arts as evidenced not only by the numerous arts CCA clubs but also by the quality and interest of these groups.

Many of these clubs, like Symphonia, Eurhythmix, Caderas Latinas, Samba Masala, the SoundFoundry's eight active rock and pop bands, perform regularly at university events, and are also invited to showcase their talents by external organisations. Twenty-four arts groups currently reside under the Arts Constituent Body, the Arts and Cultural Fraternity (ACF).

SPORTS & ADVENTURE
By working closely with the SMU Sports Union (SSU), we provide development, enrichment and enjoyment through a wide variety of sports and recreational co-curricular activities. Students are also encouraged to participate in competitions like the Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic (IVP) Games, National Championships, Regional and International Games.

There are currently 39 Sports CCA Clubs, as well as five SMU Xtremists (SMUX) Clubs. Each club varies in its objectives and may be recreational or competitive in nature.

SICS Clubs
There are a total of 26 clubs under the purview of the Special Interest and Community Service Sodality (SICS). There are clubs that cater to such eclectic interests as travel, food, animal welfare and acquiring skills on entrepreneurship, networking, investments and technical know-how. There are also community-based clubs that focus on humanitarian issues and community service, both locally and overseas.
