SMU Ambassadors
Our Ambassadors are a diverse and dynamic group of students committed to enhancing SMU's reputation by sharing their unique SMU experiences with various external stakeholders. They present interesting and personal insights into SMU's culture, values, mission and vision to our external partners, visitors, students and the general public. asmu@smu.edu.sg
SMU Peer Helpers The SMU Peer Helpers are full-time undergraduate students trained in counselling skills and supervised by counsellors from the Centre for Counselling & Guidance. Our main passion is to provide a listening ear to fellow students who need a safe place to share their troubles.
We also operate the SMU Wellness Centre and provide the student community with a welcoming environment for relaxation, cosy chats and an avenue to momentarily shed woes. peerhelpers@smu.edu.sg
Student Council of Discipline (SCD) The Student Council of Discipline (SCD) is a student-run body which works closely with the Centre for Counselling & Guidance . Our role is to work together with students to build and enhance the reputation of SMU as a premier institution of higher learning, where students embody the core values of integrity and honesty. We also initiate various educational programmes on campus to raise awareness on the behavioral standards and requirements expected of our student citizenry. scd@smu.edu.sg
