Mr Michael Issenberg

Accor Asia Pacific

Michael Issenberg leads Accor Asia Pacific. Accor is Europe’s leader in hotels and services with almost 4,000 properties in nearly 100 countries throughout the world. Accor serves travellers through its upscale brands Sofitel, as well as its midscale Novotel, Mercure, and Suitehotel, and economy chains Ibis and All Seasons. In addition, it operates budget brands Motel 6 and Formule 1. Accor also operates or owns stakes in several hospitality and food service companies; its Accor Services unit provides outsourced benefits services to more than 370,000 corporate customers.

In February 2008, Mr Issenberg assumed his current position as Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, Accor Asia Pacific and joined the global executive committee. Based in the Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s overall hospitality development and management activities. Mr Issenberg was previously Managing Director at Accor Asia Pacific, a position he had occupied since 2003. He played a pivotal role in the establishment and development of Accor Premiere Vacation Club, a point based timeshare business.

Michael joined Accor in 1994 from Mirvac Limited as Chief Executive Officer, one of Australia’s largest hotel companies where he spent five years. Before Accor, he worked for Westin Hotels & Resorts, Laventhol and Horwath & Horwath Services Pty Limited and Merlin Properties in San Francisco and Sydney.

Mr Issenberg, 49, holds a degree in hotel administration from Cornell University, USA and is a Director of Tourism and Transport Forum in Australia.

Mr Andrew Lee

Senior Executive Vice President &
Head of Global Consumer Financial Services
OCBC Bank

Andrew Lee, 56, is Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Global Consumer Financial Services for OCBC Bank. Andrew is responsible for the bank’s Consumer Banking business in Singapore and regional markets, overseeing a full range of banking products, services and channels. These businesses would include OCBC’s Private Bank, Premier Banking, Branches, Wealth Management, Cards, Unsecured and Secured Loans.

Mr Lee has 29 years of banking experience in several senior level executive positions, involving strategy, overseeing implementation and setting new standards of banking performance.

He holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours in Economics) from the University of Singapore. Additionally, he has attended executive management programmes at Insead and Stanford University.

Mr Quek Peck Leng

Executive Vice President (Consumer) &
Chief Executive Officer, SingTel Mobile
Singapore Telecommunications Limited

Quek Peck Leng, 53, joined SingTel in December 2006 as Executive Vice President of Consumer. He leads SingTel's Consumer Group and is responsible for setting the business strategy for the consumer market, focusing on fixed-line, mobile and broadband services. He is also the C hief Executive Officer of SingTel Mobile.

Peck Leng has a wealth of knowledge about the Singapore consumer market. Before joining SingTel, he was the Regional Director, S.E.A/Oceania of Asia Pacific Breweries (APB), overseeing Singapore , Malaysia , New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Before 1998, he was its Director, Group Human Resource, and was responsible for talent management, people and team development. He also held appointments in Transnational Co. Pte Ltd and Metal Box Singapore Ltd prior to joining APB.

Peck Leng graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore. He is married and has two children.
