The Centre for Academic Computing (CAC) supports faculty research through technology. Offering a central resource for faculty research computational needs, CAC aims to promote the use of technology in research and to facilitate the use of research resources and facilities available in SMU. These broad tasks not only the logistical aspects of sourcing for and maintaining research IT resources, but also supporting their use through introducing, educating, training and troubleshooting problems.
