Office of Research

To cultivate a research-friendly environment, SMU's Office of Research (ORE) provides support in four main areas:

Research Administration Graduate Studies Institutional Review Knowledge Dissemination
Coordinates research funding for internal and external grants and provides research support services to the schools, research centres and institutes Development and management of SMU's suite of postgraduate research programmes Provides reviews of research involving human subjects and ensures compliance with standard ethical principles Promotes knowledge generated within the University to the wider community
