We are the pioneer in developing a learning approach that is based on a holistic and broadbased curriculum. We seek to educate the whole person by giving our students a balanced mix of ‘hard’ knowledge skills and ‘soft’ people skills that include leadership, communication, problem-solving and character-building. This way, we develop them into ‘all-rounder’ graduates, capable of excelling in a variety of careers and at the same time, making meaningful contributions to society.

We are the leader in providing an unrivalled pedagogy that is focused on interactive learning. In an interactive learning environment. Students contribute to the learning process by participating actively in class discussions. Our students learn to think on the spot and provide refreshing perspectives in ways that will benefit them upon graduation and entering the work force.

We are a first-mover in providing global exposure opportunities to our students. More than 73% of them have some form of overseas exposure in the form of international student exchange programmes, summer study programmes, overseas study missions and overseas community service projects. At SMU, the world is your campus.
