Mr Ng Chew Song, formerly Associate Director of Campus Development, has been promoted to Director, following the resignation of Mr Foo Yit San, who headed the SMU city campus project since joining SMU in May 2001.

Practice Associate Professor Themin Suwardy, School of Accountancy, has been promoted from Teaching Assistant Professor, and has been appointed Programme Director for the Master of Professional Accounting.
Associate Professor Tan Wee Liang, Lee Kong Chian School of Business, has been named a Wilford F White Fellow – only the second Singaporean to have been named (SMU Professor Tan Teck Meng was inducted in 1998). Established in 1977, it is the highest recognition that the International Council for Small Business gives to those individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development, furtherance and benefit of small and medium sized businesses.
