Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition

The Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition seeks to recognize the potential of start-ups from around the world.

Open to students from tertiary institutions from around the world, the Competition is an opportunity for students to test their business ideas on a global platform; to increase visibility and raise the profile of their business; and potentially to seek funding from investors.

Organised by SMU, the Competition is open to all undergraduate students from universities, colleges and polytechnics from around the world.

This year's Competition is sponsored by Cerebos Pacific Limited and HSBC. Teams will compete for a total of US$69,000 in cash prizes, and finalists will be flown to Singapore to make their presentations to a panel of international judges.

The closing date for entry is Wednesday, 29 March 2006. Interested participants can submit their plans on-line through the Competition's website at www.smu.edu.sg/LKY
