Staff Appointments

 

 

Mr Alan Goh has been appointed the new Director, Office of Undergraduate Admissions, with effect from 2 January. Alan brings with him more than 20 years of experience in general management and sales & marketing, having spent 15 years with Coca-Cola Pte Ltd, where his last appointment was General Manager and Vice-President, F&N Coca-Cola Ltd; as Vice-President of Corporate Marketing, SingTel & CEO of Telecom Equipment Pte Ltd; and during 2000 to 2003, as Vice-President of Motorola Asia Pacific and Regional Director of Marketing, Personal Communications Sector, South Asia.
Alan also has an extensive network of business and alliance marketing partners within Asia Pacific.

 


 

 

Mr Yeo Hiok Khoon has been appointed the new Associate Director of Strategic Planning, with effect from 22 December. Trained as a teacher, Hiok Khoon worked for the Ministry of Education for about 12 years and gained invaluable experience in curriculum design and development. In 1989, he was approached by Motorola for the leading roles in Instructional Design and Leadership Development in its regional training units and for the next 14 years was involved in the setting up of Motorola’s regional corporate universities in Singapore and in China. His last appointment was Regional Director of Business Development, Motorola University Asia Pacific. His multi-faceted experience and Six Sigma skills set will help to push the Quality Management in SMU.
