| SMU’s very own Garret Charles Mallal (BBM 2003), Darrell Ee Yew Weng (BBM 2003) and Cheryl Goh Sze Wei (BBM 2002) did Singapore and the University proud by striking gold and silver at the 2003 SEA Games in Vietnam.
Garret and Darrell are part of the fabulous Singapore Waterpolo Team, which bagged gold
at the SEA Games Waterpolo competition.

The team now holds the record for winning 20 times at the SEA Games.
Turning to the Judo scene, Cheryl, who had represented and won medals at many national and international competitions, clinched silver
in the individual women’s < 63 kg event at the SEA Games.
