Held in the Li Ka Shing Library on Friday 9 November 2007, a lively discussion between the Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo and SMU undergraduates took place to discuss “Singapore’s Foray on the International Scene”. The dialogue was well-attended by students from across the campus and covered issues ranging from the ASEAN Charter, crisis in Myanmar and other regional and world developments impacting Singapore.

As an initiative of the combined efforts of the SMU Social Science Society and the Punggol Community Club Youth Executive Committee, this was the first time Minister George Yeo has engaged in a dialogue session with students at SMU.
