to train Asia Pacific IT professionals
- Mercury Donates Over US$1Million in Mercury
Performance Center Software
- Students Receive BTO Training to Help Them

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIF – DECEMBER
12, 2005 – Mercury Interactive Corporation
(NASDAQ: MERQE), the global leader in business technology
optimization (BTO) software, today announced that it has
partnered with Singapore Management University (SMU) to
help develop and train Asia Pacific's next generation of
IT professionals. The initiative includes Mercury's provision
of over US$1million worth of Mercury Performance Center™ software.
Additionally, Singapore Management University's School
of Information Systems has developed a BTO raining course
for SMU graduating students to become better educated on
the latest technology and business solutions.
With this initiative, SMU's School of Information
Systems will teach students about application performance
using a center of excellence approach. Students will learn
how demand, project and resource management as well as risk
mitigation are important when deploying mission-critical
applications in today's business environment. Ultimately,
the course is designed to equip graduating students with
knowledge and experience necessary to drive business outcomes
from IT.
SMU deployed the recently announced Mercury
Performance Center 8.1™, part of Mercury BTO Enterprise™,
which comprises a new and enhanced set of Mercury application
modules, a real-time dashboard and an enterprise foundation.
The software modules in Mercury Performance Center include
Mercury LoadRunner™, Mercury Diagnostics™, Mercury
Tuning™, Mercury Capacity Planning™, and Mercury
Global Management™.

IT students prepare for designing and testing solutions

software as part of our Architectural Analysis course.”
