Singapore Management University Revises Fees in Line with Other Two Universities

The Singapore Management University (SMU) will be revising undergraduate fees annually from Academic Years 2001-2003, in line with the revisions by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

The current fee per academic year is S$5,500. The revised fees will be as follows:

AY2001 - S$5,650
AY2002 - S$5,800
AY2003 - S$5,950

These revisions are also applicable to existing Business Management students. Fees for foreign students will remain 10% higher than those for Singaporean students.

Currently, SMU offers a Bachelor of Business Management programme and will commence its Bachelor of Accountancy programme in August 2001.

Note: To help students whose families are affected by the economic slowdown, the AY2002 tuition fees for undergraduate courses will be frozen at the existing levels. Fees for AY2003 will be reviewed in the 2nd half of 2002.
