All students (both local and foreign) are required to undergo a COMPULSORY medical examination with Raffles Medical Group (RMG) in Singapore prior to starting your studies at SMU.
*Foreign students: Please print and bring this form (ICA format) to the RMG clinic.
The cost of medical examination will be borne by the students. Payment is to be made at the RMG clinics.

- Pre-Enrolment Medical Examination The Medical Examination consists of:
- Physical Examination (height & weight measurements)
- Eye Test (visual acuity & colour vision)
- Blood Pressure Reading
- Urine Test (protein & sugar)
- Chest X-Ray
- Medical Report
- HIV Test (for foreign students only)
- Information required at RMG registration counter
- For SMU Local Students, your full name and IC number
- For SMU International Students, your full name, passport/FIN number and medical form (Please print and bring it to the RMG clinic)

- For female students, please do your pre-enrolment medical examination at least 3 days after menstruation.

At the clinic, please inform the counter staff that you are a SMU student and provide them with the following information:
Please collect your medical report and X-ray after 3 working days for local students and 5 working days for foreign students. (Important Note: You must bring your medical report on IDs Verification and Card Collection Day).
Pre-Enrolment Medical Examination can be done during office hours only. You are required to make an appointment to see the doctor.
