To matriculate online (available only during the specified window periods), please login to the Applicant's Self Service (https://eservices.smu.edu.sg/psp/ps/?cmd=login), which is also accessible from the SMU admissions homepage.
You will need to perform the following steps to complete the online matriculation process :
- Pay Confirmation Fee *
- Confirm Personal Data
- Self-Service Matriculation
- Activate SMU Computer Account
Upon activation of your SMU Computer Account, log in to the student portal OASIS > Home > Pre-Term Activities and Info to perform a series of online activities such as:

OASIS is SMU's On-Line Access to Student Information System (https://oasis.smu.edu.sg). OASIS hosts various self-service functions under different categories such as Study, Personal & Finances, Resources, Career & Jobs, Student Life and Schools & Community. Students can make use of OASIS to access all student-related information, services and resources.

- Upload Student Photograph (Compulsory)
- Approved photographs will be used for printing onto the SMU Student Card, which will be issued to you during the IDs Verification and Card Collection Day.
- Update Bank Information
- The purpose is for crediting of funds via interbank Giro into your bank account for reimbursement of claims that you may have during your course of study.
- Mandatory for students who have a local bank account currently
- For student who does not possess a local bank account at the present moment, kindly update the bank information upon opening of a local bank account.
- The purpose is for crediting of funds via interbank Giro into your bank account for reimbursement of claims that you may have during your course of study.
- Compulsory Orientation Programmes
- Register online for the compulsory programmes organised by the Li Ka Shing Library and the Office of Career Services.
- For the compulsory Freshmen Teambuilding Camp organised by the Office of Student Life, you will be assigned to one of the four camp runs.
- For the compulsory Convocation, you will receive an invitation letter on the IDs Verification and Card Collection Day.
- Waiver Test for Statistics (Optional)
- Register online for the optional test and retrieve useful information such as list of topics, formulae, etc.
- Course Registration (Compulsory)
- Retrieve the "Freshmen Guide to Course Registration" and register for classes during the specified window period.
Other items to be completed offline and to bring/submit on the IDs Verification and Card Collection Day:
- Pre-Enrolment Examination and Medical Report (RMG)
- Student's Pass (only applicable to foreign students)
- If you are below 18 years old at the point of matriculating online, you MUST ALSO provide your parent’s/guardian’s details and have him/her sign the SMU Indemnity Form. Please refer
