Tuition Fees
Tuition Fees are billed and payable in two instalments for each academic year. The first instalment, together with other miscellaneous fees, will be payable on matriculation day. The breakdown of the total fee payable in Term 1 of Academic Year 2008 is as follows:

Financial Assistance
If you require financial assistance to pay your Tuition Fees, there are various schemes for which you can apply:-
- Tuition fee loan (TFL)
- Study loan (SL)
- CPF Education Scheme (CPF)
- Mendaki Tertiary Tuition Fee Subsidy

*Full fee student refers to student who does not wish to apply or not eligible for the Government Tuition Grant. Click here for Tuition Grant information and application.
If you have been awarded a scholarship or a bursary, you are required to pay your fees first, and claim reimbursement directly from the awarding institution.
However, if the award is given through SMU, SMU will make the necessary arrangements to present the bill to the relevant institution.
Fees Payable On Matriculation
You are required to pay the miscellaneous fees of $253. As for the amount of tuition fees payable, it will depend on whether you are obtaining any financial assistance schemes and the quantum. Listed below is a list of scenarios and the amount payable on matriculation day for your reference:

1 Tuition fee refers to the tuition fee payable by students who are Singapore citizens.
Fee Payable By NSMen
If you are an NSmen offered and accepted a place in SMU in the prior academic year but admitting in AY2008, the total fee payable in Term 1 will be:|

If you have paid a confirmation fee of S$200 during the NSmen matriculation exercise, please net off this from the total fees payable.
Please view your invoice via your student email account or via OASIS at https://studentbill.smu.edu.sg/ (Click the link under Account to “Statement of Account") . To bring a copy of the invoice for payment at Finance booth during the matriculation exercise from 7 to 9 July 2008.
Note:
The above scenarios assume that your loan application is approved. If the loan is not granted, the amount payable will be different.
At the point of payment on matriculation day, you will need to submit the CPF_declaration form (for online application) and/or Mendaki_form if you wish to apply to these loan schemes. All fees due must be fully paid before you could attend classes.
