A. Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) DUO-Singapore Exchange Fellowship Award
The Duo-Singapore Fellowship is awarded by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) to promote student exchanges between European and Asian Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) member countries.
The fellowship is awarded to full-time SMU undergraduate students who are Singapore or ASEAN citizens and undergraduate students from partner universities in European ASEM member countries. Please note that Iceland, Norway and Switzerland are not European ASEM member countries.

For SMU undergraduate students, application for the Duo-Singapore Exchange Fellowship Award for AY2012-2013 will open from 6 January 2012 to 10 February 2012.
SMU undergraduate students who plan to go on exchange in Term 1 OR Term 2 of AY2012-13 MUST apply for the award by 10 February 2012.
The Duo Award application form and checklist is available at http://www.mfa.gov.sg/duo/ .The completed hardcopy Duo Fellowship application form and supporting documents must be submitted to the SMU Office of International Relations by 10 February 2012, 5pm . SMU students must concurrently submit your application for international student exchange programme (either for Term 1 or Term 2, AY2012-13) via OASIS in the Jan 2012 exchange application window. Otherwise, your Duo Fellowship application will not be considered. The procedures and deadlines on submitting an exchange application can also be found on OASIS.
For incoming exchange students from European ASEM countries, you must submit hardcopy of your Duo Award application form and the required supporting documents to the SMU Office of International Relations through your home university. Please check with your home university for more details.
The application outcome will be announced in May/June 2012. If you are successful in your application, the DUO fellowship award amount of 4,000 Euros will be credited into your account in two sums. The first sum will be disbursed 1-2 weeks after the commencement of the semester in SMU/partner universities. The remaining sum will be disbursed two months after the first disbursement. More details will be provided upon successful award of the DUO Fellowship.
B. International Business Fellowship (iBF) Programme
The International Business Fellowship (iBF) programme is co-funded by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore and SMU. It aims to nurture a talent pool with in-depth knowledge of doing business in developing global markets.
The iBF programme supports SMU students who are on exchange in China (excluding Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou & Shenzhen), India, Kazakhstan, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Qatar and Russia.
The quantum of the fellowship is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria
Full-time SMU undergraduate students who fulfilled the following requirements are eligible to apply for the iBF programme:
• Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
• Cumulative GPA of 2.50 and above
• Have not been awarded any scholarship or funding whatsoever by anyone in respect of the same items for which the student is granted funding under the iBF programme
• Have not been the subject of any disciplinary action in SMU

Application instructions will be provided by the Office of International Relations via e-mail to SMU students who have been successfully selected to go on exchange in the selected countries listed above.
C. Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO)
The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Scholarship is available to students who are going to Japan on exchange. The scholarship provides students with a monthly stipend of 80,000 yen and a one-off relocation allowance of 80,000 yen. The scholarship is very limited and is only offered by selected Japanese universities each year.

D. Deloitte & Touche International Exchange Scholarship
Deloitte & Touche has established the International Exchange Scholarship Fund to assist full-time SMU BAcc undergraduate students with financial needs to fulfill their dreams of participating in an overseas exchange programme. Six scholarships, each valued at S$4,000, are awarded annually. Please click here for more details.
E. Krishna Exchange Scholarship
The Krishna Exchange Scholarship is established by an anonymous SMU Business Management graduate for deserving full-time SMU undergraduate students who wish to spend a semester of studies overseas with an SMU partner university for international student exchange. F. The SICC International Exchange Scholarship
This Scholarship is established by the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) to assist deserving full-time SMU undergraduate students to spend a semester of study in overseas universities. Please click here for more details.
G. The Li & Fung Scholarship
The Li & Fung (1906) Foundation Ltd has established an endowment fund to support SMU undergraduate students who wish to pursue overseas exchange programmes as well as Chinese mainland undergraduate students who wish to attend the exchange programme at SMU . Please click here for more details.
H. ANZ Singapore-New Zealand Scholarship Program
The ANZ Singapore-New Zealand Scholarship Program offers students from Singapore the opportunity to study and work in a different part of the Asia Pacific region, gaining unique experiences and insights to build on their global view of the world. There are two scholarships per annum. Each scholarship is NZD 15,000. ANZ will also offer each student a three-month paid internship with ANZ New Zealand, one of New Zealand's largest banking organisations.
