| A. Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) DUO-Singapore Exchange Fellowship Award The Duo-Singapore Fellowship is awarded by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) to promote student exchanges between European and Asian Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) member countries.
The fellowship is awarded to full-time SMU undergraduate students who are Singapore or ASEAN citizens and undergraduate students from partner universities in European ASEM countries. Please note that Iceland, Norway and Switzerland are not ASEM member countries.

Application for the Duo-Singapore Exchange Fellowship Award for AY2010-2011 will be opened from 7 January 2010 to 11 February 2010.
Please note that this deadline applies to ALL SMU students going on exchange in AY2010-11. Hence, SMU students who are applying for exchange in term 1 OR term 2 of AY2010-11 MUST apply for the award by 11 February 2010 .
SMU students must submit your application for international student exchange programme (either for term 1 or term 2, AY2010-11) via OASIS BEFORE your Duo Fellowship application will be considered. More details about applying for exchange can be found on OASIS. The Duo Award application form and checklist is available at http://www.mfa.gov.sg/duo/ .The completed Duo Fellowship application form and supporting documents must be submitted to the SMU Office of International Relations by 11 February 2010.
For incoming exchange students from European ASEM countries, please submit your Duo Award application form and the required supporting documents by air mail to the SMU Office of International Relations by 11 February 2010.
The application outcome will be announced in May/June 2010. If you are successful in your application, the DUO fellowship award amount of 4,000 Euros will be credited into your account in two sums. The first sum will be disbursed 1-2 weeks after the commencement of the semester in SMU/partner universities. The remaining sum will be disbursed two months after the first disbursement. More details will be provided upon successful award of the DUO Fellowship.
B. International Business Fellowship (IBF) Programme
The International Business Fellowship (IBF) programme is co-funded by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore and SMU. It aims to nurture a talent pool with in-depth knowledge of doing business in developing global markets.
The IBF programme supports SMU students who are on exchange in China ( excluding Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou & Shenzhen), India, Kazakhstan, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru and Russia.
The quantum of the fellowship is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria
Full-time SMU undergraduate students who fulfilled the following requirements are eligible to apply for the IBF programme:
• Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents
• Cumulative GPA of 2.50 and above
• Proficient in Mandarin and has achieved a minimum B4 grade for ‘O' level or ‘AO' level Chinese (applicable to students on exchange in China)
• Have not been the subject of any disciplinary action in SMU

C. Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO)
The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Scholarship is available to students who are going to Japan on exchange. The scholarship provides students with a monthly stipend of 80,000 yen and a one-off relocation allowance of 80,000 yen. The scholarship is very limited and is only offered by selected Japanese universities each year.

D. Deloitte & Touche International Exchange Scholarship
Deloitte & Touche has established the International Exchange Scholarship Fund to assist full-time SMU BAcc undergraduate students with financial needs to fulfill their dreams of participating in an overseas exchange programme. E. The SICC International Exchange Scholarship
This Scholarship is established by the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) to assist deserving full-time SMU undergraduate students to spend a semester of study in overseas universities. Please click here for more details.
F. The Li & Fung Scholarship
The Li & Fung (1906) Foundation Ltd has established an endowment fund to support SMU undergraduate students who wish to pursue overseas exchange programmes as well as Chinese mainland undergraduate students who wish to attend the exchange programme at SMU . Please click here for more details.
G. Temasek Foundation-SMU Leadership Enrichment and Regional Networking (LEaRN) Scholarship
Aimed at grooming bright young Asian leaders from the region, the Temasek Foundation- SMU Leadership Enrichment and Regional Networking (LEaRN) Programme will send 35 SMU undergraduate students of Asian nationalities for a semester of exchange in Asian partner universities. Similarly, 35 undergraduate students from SMU 's Asian partner universities will spend a semester of studies in SMU . Please click here for more details.
H. Krishna Exchange Scholarship
The Krishna Exchange Scholarship is established by an anonymous SMU Business Management graduate for deserving full-time SMU undergraduate students who wish to spend a semester of studies overseas with an SMU partner university for international student exchange. Two scholarships, each valued at S$5,000, will be awarded annually. Please click here for more details.

I. . ANZ Singapore-New Zealand Scholarship Program
The ANZ Singapore-New Zealand Scholarship Program offers students from Singapore the opportunity to study and work in a different part of the Asia Pacific region, gaining unique experiences and insights to build on their global view of the world. There are two scholarships per annum. Each scholarship is NZD 15,000. ANZ will also offer each student a three-month paid internship with ANZ New Zealand, one of New Zealand's largest banking organisations.

J. SMU Overseas Student Programme (OSP) Loan
The SMU Overseas Student Programme (OSP) Loan Scheme allows Singaporean students to gain international exposure and develop global mindset through participation in relevant programmes such as the International Student Exchange Programme and the Summer Study Programme approved by SMU . K. Citibank Study Abroad Loan
The Citibank Study Abroad Loan is available to full-time SMU undergraduate students who are Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents. The minimum and maximum loan amount is S$2,000 to S$10,000 respectively. The loan is interest-bearing. However, during the student's course of study with SMU , interest will be paid by SMU . Repayment of the loan can be made by equal monthly installments one month after graduation date.
