Endowment Fund

Funding to the amount of over S$17 million endowment is the cornerstone of the financial support for the activities of SKBI. This endowment fund has been raised through the generous efforts of the family, friends and admirers of Mr. Sim Kee Boon. Gifts from the private sector generate a matching 1:1 grant from the Singapore government, thereby doubling support to advance research and education in Financial Economics at SMU. All donations in support of SKBI at SMU also receive a double tax deduction.

SKBI's Endowment Fund Group is comprised of

  • Lim Chee Onn (Honorary Patron)
  • Baey Lian Peck
  • Chandra Das
  • Liew Mun Leong
  • Lim Hock San
  • Raymond Lum
  • Ng Kee Choe
  • Quek Swee Peng
