The Ee Seng and Claire Lim Accountancy Scholarship is available to local Bachelor of Accountancy undergraduates currently studying full-time at the Singapore Management University .
One Scholarship is awarded annually and is tenable for one year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time BAcc undergraduates pursuing their second, third or fourth year of study at SMU
- Singapore citizens or permanent residents
- Outstanding academic achievements
- Good character records
- Good track records of CCA and/or community service involvement and who have displayed evidence of leadership skills
- Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need
Tenure and Benefits of the Scholarship Award
- The Scholarship, valued at $4,000 per year, is tenable for one year.
- No bond is required under the terms of this Scholarship.
- The donor, however, hopes that recipients of this scholarship would help another needy student when they have completed their university education and have a steady income.
Tuition Grant Scheme
Scholars are required to take advantage of the Tuition Grant Scheme (TGS) provided by the Singapore Government for subsidized education.
This Scholarship is made possible by SMU Accountancy graduate, Mr Lim Wenbin Darren and is named after his parents.
