The Mdm Tan Gim Tee (Mrs Aw Kim Swee) Scholarship is available to local Bachelor of Accountancy undergraduates currently studying full-time at the Singapore Management University. The objective of the Scholarship is to assist and spur full-time second year undergraduates at the School of Accountancy, with demonstrated financial need, to achieve academic excellence.
One Scholarship is awarded annually and is tenable for one year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time BAcc undergraduates pursuing their second year of study
- Singapore citizens or permanent residents
- Outstanding academic achievements
- Good character records
- Good track records of CCA and/or community service involvement and who have displayed evidence of leadership skills
- Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need
Tenure and Benefits of the Scholarship Award
- The Scholarship, valued at $7,500 per year, is tenable for one year.
- No bond is required under the terms of this Scholarship.
- Scholars may apply for further scholarshiping funding in years 3 and 4 to the firm of Moore Stephens, and the Donor will liaise accordingly with the said firm to facilitate such applications.
- Scholars may have opportunities for internship placements and career on graduation, with Moore Stephens.
Tuition Grant Scheme
Scholars are required to take advantage of the Tuition Grant Scheme (TGS) provided by the Singapore Government for subsidized education.
