Established by Mrs Peony Ferguson for the Ian Ferguson Foundation, the Scholarship is available to undergraduates studying full-time at the Singapore Management University.

One scholarship will be awarded every year with an additional scholarship awarded every fourth year. The Scholarships are tenable for the duration of the scholars' studies (up to four years), subject to good academic performance.

Eligibility Criteria

• Full-time first year SMU undergraduates of any nationality
• Outstanding academic results
• Good leadership skills and character
• Active CCA and community involvement
• Students with financial need will be given priority

Tenure and Benefits of the Scholarship Award

• Each scholarship, valued at $7,500 per year, is tenable for the duration of the Scholars’ studies (up to four years), subject to good academic performance.
• No bond is required under the terms of this Scholarship.

Tuition Grant Scheme

Scholars are required to take advantage of the Tuition Grant Scheme (TGS) provided by the Singapore Government for subsidized education.
