Supported by funds contributed by the School's faculty, members of the legal fraternity and the community at large, the scholarships are available to Bachelor of Laws undergraduates studying full-time at the Singapore Management University.

Up to eight scholarships will be awarded annually, each valued at $12,000 and tenable for one year.

Eligibility Criteria

• Full-time LL.B undergraduates
• Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
• Active in community service
• Preference will be given to applicants with gross monthly per capita (average) household income not exceeding $2,400 and/or applicants with evidence of financial hardship

Tenure and Benefits of the Scholarship Award

• The scholarship is valued at $12,000 each, and is tenable for one year only.
• The Scholarship covers tuition fees and study-related expenses.
• No bond is required under the terms of this Scholarship.

Tuition Grant Scheme

• Scholars are required to take advantage of the Tuition Grant Scheme (TGS) provided by the Singapore Government for subsidized education.
• Under the TGS, foreign scholars will be obligated to work in Singapore for a minimum period of three years upon graduation.
