Offered by the partners of the International Trading Track programme, the scholarship is available to full-time students interested in pursuing the International Trading Track (ITT) as a specialist track under the Finance major.
Up to eight (8) scholarships may be awarded, each tenable for the final year of the scholars' studies at SMU.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time SMU undergraduates of any nationality and in any degree programme
- Commendable academic results
- Good leadership skills and character
- Active CCA and community involvement
- Must have declared ITT as a sub-track in his/her academic progression
Interested students may apply for the scholarship prior to their final year of studies.
Tenure and Benefits of the Scholarship Award
- The scholarship, valued at $10,000, is tenable for one year and disbursed in the Scholar’s final year of studies, subject to good academic performance.
- The Scholarship covers tuition fees and study-related expenses as well as costs for the Industry Study Mission.
- The scholars are required
to serve a minimum of 10 weeks' internship with
the Sponsors.
Tuition Grant Scheme

Scholars are required to take advantage of the Tuition Grant Scheme (TGS) provided by the Singapore Government for subsidized education.

Under the TGS, foreign scholars will be obligated to work in Singapore for a minimum period of three years upon graduation.
