Lena Koh Scholarship
 

The Lena Koh Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduate students in the School of Law. The Scholarship is aimed at motivating students to achieve greater heights of excellence.

One scholarship, tenable for up to two years of the scholar's studies, will be awarded in Academic Year 2010.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time LL.B undergraduates proceeding to second or subsequent year of studies (except final year)
  • Singaporeans or Permanent Residents
  • Good academic achievements
  • Active involvement in CCA and/or community service

Tenure and Benefits of the Scholarship Award

  • The scholarship is valued at $12,000 per year.
  • The scholarship is tenable for up to two years, subject to good academic performance.
  • The scholarship covers tuition fees and study-related expenses.
  • No bond is required under the terms of this scholarship

Tuition Grant Scheme

  • Scholars are required to take advantage of the Tuition Grant Scheme (TGS) provided by the Singapore Government for subsidized education.
  • Under the TGS, foreign scholars will be obligated to work in Singapore for a minimum period of three years upon graduation.
