SMU Malay Language & Cultural Club Student Achievement Award
 

Sponsored by prominent Malay entrepreneurs, the SMU Malay Language & Cultural Club (MLCC) Student Achievement Award is aimed at recognizing and rewarding students who have demonstrated excellence in their respective fields of study, shown leadership qualities, made contributions to the Malay community and promoted the Malay culture.

One (1) award will be given annually to a student of any year of study from any degree programme.

The Award will be presented at the SMU Patron's Day .

Eligibility Criteria

The SMU MLCC Student Achievement Award is aimed at rewarding and recognizing well-rounded students who have attained academic and co-curricular achievements and have made contributions to the Malay community.

The candidate should meet the following conditions:

M - Merit
The candidate must have achieved good academic performance and may be from any year and any degree of study.

L - Leadership
The candidate must have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and be well-respected by peers and professors.

C - Creativity in promoting Malay culture
The candidate must demonstrate keen interest toward the Malay culture and engaged in innovative promotion of the Malay culture.

C - Contribution to the Malay Community
The candidate must make significant contributions to the Malay community through community service or organization of other projects.

The Award will be given to the student who best meets the criteria.

Benefits of the Award

Certificate and Cash Prize of S$1,000.
