KPMG Accounting Gold Medal Award
 

Sponsored by KPMG, the KPMG Accounting Gold Medal is given annually to a top graduating Bachelor of Accountancy student.

The Award will be presented at the SMU Commencement Ceremony.

Eligibility Criteria

The Award will be given annually to the top graduating Bachelor of Accountancy student with the highest GPA in the following Accounting subjects:

  • ACCT101/ACCT103 Financial Accounting
  • ACCT102/ACCT104 Management Accounting
  • ACCT201A Corporate Reporting & Analysis of Financial Statements
  • ACCT202 Audit & Assurance
  • ACCT203 Accounting Information Systems
  • ACCT301 Advanced Financial Accounting
  • ACCT302 Advanced Management Accounting
  • ACCT303 Advanced Auditing
  • ACCT304 Accounting Theory

The Award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
