AGD Excellence Award (in Accounting)
 

Sponsored by Ministry of Finance, Accountant-General's Department, the AGD Excellence Award (in Accounting) is given annually to a full-time third-year student in the Bachelor of Accountancy Programme.

The Award will be presented at the SMU Convocation Ceremony.

Eligibility Criteria

The Award will be given annually to a full-time third-year undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Accountancy Programme. The student must achieve sufficient merit in at least 4 out of the following 10 accounting core subjects, as determined by the School of Accountancy .

  • ACCT103/101 Financial Accounting
  • ACCT104/102 Management Accounting
  • ACCT201A Corporate Reporting & Analysis of Financial Statements
  • ACCT202 Audit and Assurance
  • ACCT203 Accounting Information Systems
  • ACCT 204 Income Tax & GST
  • ACCT301 Advanced Financial Accounting
  • ACCT302 Advanced Management Accountin
  • ACCT303 Advanced Auditing
  • ACCT304 Accounting Theory

The Award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
