SSA-Ikeda Peace Award
 

Sponsored by Singapore Soka Association (SSA), the Award is given to recognize students who are committed to the spirit of volunteerism. The Award will be given annually to a student who has achieved or made significant contributions to the University or the community at large through partnership with volunteer welfare organisations.

The Award will be presented at a University event.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for the award must meet the following criteria:

  • Impacting others through volunteerism by partnering with VWO(s) approved by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports
  • Make on-going/active contributions to SMU and/or the community at large
  • Outstanding community leadership skills
  • Good character records

The Award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
