Lai Kew Chai Prize for The Top First Year Law Student

 

The Award is given annually to recognize the most outstanding first year student from the School of Law. The Award is aimed at motivating the University's exceptional talents and to spur them to greater heights of academic excellence.

The Award will be presented at the SMU Convocation Ceremony.

Eligibility Criteria

The Award will be given annually to a LL.B student with the most outstanding academic performance over two consecutive regular terms in his first year of studies under the LL.B. programme.

The Award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.

Certificate, Gold Medal and Cash Prize (totaling $3,000)
