Future Information Technology Leader Award
 

The Award is given annually to an outstanding graduating student in the Bachelor of Science (Information Systems Management) programme from the School of Information Systems. The Award is aimed at motivating the University's exceptional talent to aspire for greater heights of excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

The Award will be given annually to a graduating student with the potential to become a forward looking IT leader and to make a difference to the IT industry.

The candidate is expected to demonstrate the following:

  • Outstanding performance in the Bachelor of Science (Information Systems Management) programme;
  • Smart ways of deploying leading edge information systems solutions in assignments, internships or project work;
  • Special appreciation and affinity for the management aspects of IT deployment;
  • Passion to assist fellow students, fellow professionals, or community members, as demonstrated by a track-record of openly and proactively sharing information and experiences related to creating, using or managing IT solutions; and
  • Commitment to develop as an individual and possessing the depth and breath required to become a future leader in both the realms ot IT and Management, as demonstrated by the completion of any SMU second major or double degree programme.

The Award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
