DBS Bank School Valedictorian Awards
 

Sponsored by DBS Bank Ltd, the prestigious DBS School Valedictorian Awards are given annually to the most outstanding graduate from each of the 6 Schools. The aim is to recognize graduates who had embraced all-round excellence in their education.

The Awards will be presented at the respective Degree Award Ceremonies held by individual schools. Each of the recipient will deliver the Valedictorian Address on behalf of the graduating body of graduates of their schools.

Eligibility Criteria

The Awards will be given to the most outstanding graduating student from each of the following schools:

  • School of Accountancy
  • Lee Kong Chian School of Business
  • School of Economics
  • School of Information Systems
  • School of Law
  • School of Social Sciences

Candidates vying for the award must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have earned the respect of fellow graduates during his/her tenure at the University
  • Outstanding academic results with minimum cumulative GPA of 3.8
  • Outstanding leadership qualities (eg leadership of clubs, programmes, various events)
  • Active involvement in co-curricular activities
  • Excellence in community involvement programmes
  • Excellent articulation skills

The Awards will only be given if there are candidates of sufficient merit from each of the 6 schools.
