CPA Australia CPA Program Award

 

Sponsored by CPA Australia Ltd, the Award is given annually to the top graduating student from the School of Accountancy. The purpose of the Award is to inspire and motivate talented students to greater heights of academic excellence.

The Award will be presented at the SMU Commencement Ceremony.

Eligibility Criteria

The CPA Australia CPA Program Award will be given annually to the top graduating Bachelor of Accountancy student with the highest GPA in the following Finance, Accounting and Business subjects:

  • ACCT101/103 Financial Accounting
  • ACCT102/104 Management Accounting
  • ACCT201A Corporate Reporting & Analysis of Financial Statements
  • ACCT202 Audit and Assurance
  • ACCT204 Income Tax & GST
  • FNCE101 Finance
  • LGST101 Business Law
  • OBHR101 Management of People at Work
  • MGMT102 Strategy

The Award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.

Benefits of the Award

The Award recipient will be sponsored for the full cost of first enrolment in 6 CPA program segments over a period of 3 years.

  • Award recipient shall be entitled to enroll in up to 2 CPA program segments each year.
  • Award recipient must enroll in 3 compulsory segments and 3 electives in accordance with the rules and regulations of the CPA Australia CPA program.
