Sponsored by CPA Australia Ltd, the CPA Australia Award is given annually to the top Second Year Bachelor of Accountancy student. The purpose of the Award is to inspire and motivate talented students to greater heights of academic excellence.
The Award will be presented at the SMU Commencement, SMU Convocation
or Patron's Day ceremonies.
Eligibility Criteria
The Award will be given annually to the top second year Bachelor of Accountancy student with the highest GPA in the following Finance, Accounting and Business subjects:
- ACCT101/103 Financial Accounting
- ACCT102/104 Management Accounting
- ACCT201A Corporate Reporting & Analysis of Financial Statements
- FNCE101 Finance
- LGST101 Business Law
- OBHR101 Management of People at Work
The Award will only be given if there is a candidate of
sufficient merit.
