Ong Angie Bursary
 

The Ong Angie Bursary is funded by the Ong Angie Memorial Fund. The bursary is aimed at providing assistance to a deserving full-time Bachelor of Accountancy undergraduate with financial needs.

One (1) bursay is awarded annually and is tenable for one (1) year.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Full-time undergraduate Accountancy students
  • Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
  • Good academic results
  • Good character records
  • Preference will be given to students with monthly household per capita income of no more than $1,000 and/or with evidence of financial difficulties

Tenure and Benefits of Bursary Award

  • The bursary is valued at $2,500 and tenable for one (1) year.
  • No bond is required of the recipient.

Tuition Grant Scheme

  • Recipients are required to take advantage of the Tuition Grant Scheme (TGS) provided by the Singapore Government for subsidized education.
  • Under the TGS, non-Singaporean recipients will be obligated to work in Singapore for a minimum period of three years upon graduation.
