About the Seminar:

The presentation will begin with an overview of trends and challenges in the entertainment industry, an industry that has been receiving increasing attention by researchers recently. We will then discuss a number of projects addressing some of these issues, including developing a decision support system for scheduling movies in theaters, and predicting their commercial performance.
