About the speaker:

Professor David R. Bell is the Associate Professor of Marketing at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  He joined the Wharton faculty in 1998. His previous appointment was with University of California, Los Angeles.

His research areas are in consumer choice; pricing, strategy, retailing and e-tailing; discrete choice econometrics; customer value analysis; stochastic processes. His current projects include a theory of menu-dependent choice and preference; Multivariate choice; Theory of customer value; Empirical generalizations in marketing; e-tailer pricing strategies; pricing and consumption.
