The Media Development Authority is pleased to invite you to attend the inaugural i.Jamming event on 25 May 2007.

The event aims to match-make players from the Interactive Digital Media (IDM) industry, academic and individuals from the startup community to encourage the creation of micro projects.

Held in the tradition of 'unconference' where participants are free to move around in the different zones , t here will be several elevated pitches by technology partners such as HP and I2R who are keen to work with individuals to develop applications on top of their platform.

Appointed mentors will be on hand to provide business advice to the startups/individuals as well.

Staff, students, or faculty of SMU who  have IDM product/service ideas you wish to try out or are still brewing in your minds, are strongly encouraged to attend the event.

Ideas which are innovative and meet the criteria can apply for funding under the IDM Joint Incubation Programme .

De mos or ideas by young startups will be showcased at the event. If you are keen to work with these startups ,  do submit your ideas through the SMU representative present there. Facilitators will be on hand to facilitate the match-making session.

Th ere will also be a short presentation on a virtual platform, called i.JAM platform, where similar match making will take place. James Seng of tomorrow.sg will be making the presentation.
