We welcome students to simply pen down their business ideas/concepts developed around the XID VideoPersonalizer and tell us in no more than one page, how this technology can be leveraged to make business sense.

Selected student teams are then invited to develop business plans around compelling business models using this award winning technology. Dr. Mariani will mentor the selected student teams very closely to help them develop their business plans and build a new company. Dr. Mariani and his team of judges will further shortlist teams that they would license their technology to. SMU BIG will fund these student teams and make available incubation space at BIG (our incubation lab) for building a new company.
