SMU's business incubation laboratory, part of SMU Business Innovations Generator (SMU BIG), is based at the concourse of the School of Accountancy at Bras Basah.

Incubation space is complimentary for students for a limited period, and subsequently, a nominal $100 per month. This includes office cubicle/s, locked cupboard space for the start-ups and complimentary use of the common facilities (namely the meeting and discussion rooms) for presentations to potential customers and investors.

Start-ups housed in the lab can choose to have their company's names displayed at the entrance of the lab, and will also be able to use the address of the lab as their mailing/correspondence address.
