Essentials of Shipping Business
Introduces the essentials in business practices of the shipping industry, covering different cargoes types and trade routes as well as risk management and contractual aspects of shipping such as bills of lading, marine insurance and freight futures.

All courses are conducted from 9am to 5pm at SMU campus unless otherwise stated.
REGISTRTION FOR ITI PROFESIONAL EDUCATION COURSES
For participants who sign up at least 4 weeks before the start of the course, we are pleased to offer an Early Bird rate. Details and course fees are available in the registration form.
Closing date for registration is 1 week before commencement of course. Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first served basis. Applications received after deadline will be considered subject to space availability.
Funding Support
Organisations sponsoring Singapore-based participants may be eligible for Financial Sector Development Fund (FSDF) support from the Monetary Authority of Singapore on a case-by-case basis. Interested organisations should submit their applications to the FSDF Secretariat directly prior to programme commencement. Maritime Cluster Fund Course Fee Subsidy (MCF CFS) from the Maritime Port Authority of Singapore is available for eligible participants of Essentials of Shipping Business. Please refer to www.mpa.gov.sg/mcf for information. Applications can be submitted through ITI before commencement of the course.

2 weeks or less prior to course commencement – 100% of course fee
